Flywheel Teams with Westwood & Wilshire to Hire Director of Sales

September 13, Minneapolis, MN-- Flywheel; the leading research data platform that’s transforming the way biomedical and imaging data are managed at life sciences, clinical, and academic institutions globally, has brought on Katie King as Director of Sales, Clinical. Earlier this year Flywheel closed a $15 million Series B funding, which will allow the company to deepen its presence in the life sciences and AI markets. 

King joins Flywheel from Curative, where she was promoted to National Director of Key Accounts after developing and executing vaccine administration plans. Before Curative, King worked as a sales manager and account executive at several biotechs, including SOPHiA Genetics and Myriad Genetics. King began her career in sonography before moving into clinical sales, receiving degrees from the University of Colorado and the American Institute of College Health Professionals. This is the third successful placement by Westwood & Wilshire for Flywheel in two months.
