ACCELERON PHARMACEUTICALS PARTNERS WITH WESTWOOD & WILSHIRE TO FILL MEDICAL DIRECTOR - NEUROMUSCULAR CLINICAL ROLE

Acceleron, a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company dedicated to the discovery, development, and commercialization of therapeutics to treat serious and rare diseases, has hired Dr. Marc van de Rijn as the new Medical Director. Dr. van de Rijn joined from the University of California, Davis Medical Center where he served as a Neuromuscular Fellow. Dr. van de Rijn has recieved his MD from Temple University School of Medicine and has an accomplished history of strong research work in the field of neuroscience.
