AGIOS PHARMACEUTICALS, INC. PARTNERS WITH WESTWOOD & WILSHIRE TO FILL DIRECTOR, CLINICAL SCIENCE ROLE

Diego Gianolio, Ph.D. has joined Agios Pharmaceuticals, Inc. as their new Director of Clinical Science. Dr. Gianolio joins Agios from Sanofi Oncology where he served as their Associate Director Development Science, Immuno-Oncology. In addition to a Ph.D. in organic Chemistry from the University of Parma 
(Italy), Dr. Gianolio has completed a Postdoctoral Fellow from Boston College and has held positions of increasing related responsibility at Genzyme throughout his career.
