SingleStore and Westwood & Wilshire Team Up Again to Fill Tech Evangelist Role

San Francisco, CA, June 14, 2021— SingleStore, a tech company dedicated to operationalizing all data through one platform, has hired Joe Karlsson as a Tech Evangelist. The company, which recently completed a Series E raise, provides a database for operational analytics and cloud native-applications.

Karlsson comes to SingleStore from MongoDB, where they were a Senior Developer Advocate, they serving as a technical ally to developers. Prior to that, they worked as an engineer or in team building roles since graduating Gustavus Adolphus College in 2012. Karlsson is a well-known influencer on Tik-Tok and regularly gives talks at tech conferences, including a recent TedX Talk.

Not a first-time collaboration between Westwood & Wilshire’s Advanced Technology Practice, this is the third successful placement at SingleStore in a month led by Jeremy Turpen.
