As Practice Director, Julie McDonald brings a range of expertise to Westwood & Wilshire. Her deep knowledge across life sciences has led to a myriad of placements for physicians and scientists from early discovery and preclinical sciences R&D to late-stage clinical development. Julie has led searches in the pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device and diagnostic spaces resulting in placements for positions including CSO and CMO to Head of Biology and SVP of Regulatory Affairs and Quality. After getting her degree in Exercise Science, and time in the clinic, she found passion in recruitment. Prior to joining Westwood & Wilshire, Julie worked as an on-site Talent Acquisition Manger for Edwards Life Sciences. Her expertise and skills have only grown since she left the $2 Billion global cardiovascular medical device company to join the firm.
