EXICURE TEAMS WITH WESTWOOD & WILSHIRE TO FILL SENIOR SCIENTIFIC DIRECTOR ROLE

Chicago, IL, May 24—Exicure, a clinical stage company with therapies in immunomodulation and gene regulation, has hired Jack Tseng as its new Senior Scientific Director. The biotech uses their own proprietary spherical nucleic acid to create effective oligonucleotide based therapies in oncology, inflammatory diseases, and rare genetic disorders.

Dr. Tseng has been in clinical research leadership roles for nearly a decade. Most recently he served at Mallinckrodt as the Director of Clinical Development in Hepatology and before that in various roles at Purdue, Eisai, and Novartis. Dr. Tseng reccieved his PhD in Neurobiology from the University of Lausanne in Switzerland.
